FEED

The book, Feed by M.T Anderson is a very intriguing book. The way he describes the characters is quite amazing as by the end of the book you actually feel that you know the characters of the book. I think the fact that it is set some time in the future, where there are flying cars, everything is computerised and where space travel is a reality appeals to me because it is different and it makes you think about what the world could look like in years to come. I think the way he used two people to demonstrate opposite ideas both as extreme as the other was great as it made you pick what side of the argument/debate you agreed with. Although this book did provoke a lot of thought I think that the story line was rather boring and slow moving. Admittedly the pace of the book picked up towards the end but it took to long to get started. The book also had a very bizarre ending as it just ended and didn’t say how everything ended up. I think this story, which is for a younger audience, has been over complicated by the author and as a result I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone.
